4398cc V8 (M62), automatic. This BMW 840CI (E31) has covered only 39,900 miles, and the vendor says it "drives like new". It's finished in Titanium Silver with a light grey leather interior, Anthracite headlining, electric sunroof and the full Sport package. Since coming out of storage in 2019, the car has been MoT tested every year without advisories, despite covering minimal mileage, and its current certificate is valid 1st October 2027. We're told it's been dry-stored all its life.
Built in October 1997 and supplied new in January 1998 by a main dealer in Hull, the car is believed to have belonged to a member of Parliament. After passing between a couple of family members and receiving maintenance exclusively at BMW main dealers, it was put into storage in an underground car park in London during 2009, at around 37,800 miles. In 2019 it was recommissioned and has been in light use ever since, receiving its latest service around 150 miles ago.
The car is supplied with 3 keys and its full handbook pack, with 10 stamps in the service book. These are accompanied by MoT certificates from 2019 on, a couple of receipts, and the V5C which shows 5 former keepers. The vendor purchased it at one of our sales in 2023.
